FAQ's
Q.
How do You know that the people buying are 18?
A.
Well to use paypal and be able to send money you have to be verified
and to be verified you have to have a checking account and a credit or
debit card. Even to sign up you have to be at least 18 years of age.
Q.
When will I recieve my purchase?
A. When we
recieve your email we fill the order the following day and then have
to place the order at the factory and since you can add priority
shipping to the price, which is better it can take only 4-8 days. That
isn't a guarentee because some orders take longer then others.
Q.
If I live in the US, what is the taste that
Phillip Morris reecommends for me?
A.
The US taste is the white filter and out of the
US, people like brown filters.
Q.
Do you ship world wide?
A.
Yes, we ship world wide.
Q. How should I order
so I always have enough cigarettes between deliveries?
A. On
your first order you should order 1 months worth of cigarettes. When
you receive your first delivery, you should immediately place your
next order for another months worth. Do this every month. This way you
should never run out of cigarettes.
Q. Can
I buy cigarettes by international mail?
A.
Buying cigarettes by international mail is legal, as long as it is
carried out in accordance with international postal regulations and
standards: the contents of the parcel must be stated for the
destination country postal authorities.
Q. Can cigarettes by
international mail be sold without import stamps?
A. Cigarettes can be
sold without import stamps and may carry the wording "duty free sales
only" providing they are sold from a BONDED WAREHOUSE, like in the
case of the cigarettes sold at goCigs.net.
Q. What is a "bonded
warehouse"?
A. This term is used to
indicate goods which are not subjected to taxes in the source country
so that the taxes, if required, can be applied in the country of
destination where the product is used only.
Q. Can BONDED WAREHOUSE sales be considered a
form of DUTY-FREE sales?
A. The term "Duty Free"
is improper. A product is "duty free" when it reaches the country of
destination where tax may be applied to the discretion of the local
Customs Authorities. For this reason, the product may not be "duty
free" when it reaches the market. The threshold value from which duty
taxes are usually applied varies from country to country, generally in
the range from 25 to 50 $US.
Q. Do BONDED WAREHOUSE
products have more competitive prices?
A. Yes,
unquestionably better. Thanks to the BONDED WAREHOUSE, the product
sales price is lower since no taxes are applied. Upon arrival at the
destination customs, products are taxed only when their value exceeds
a certain threshold (generally in the range from 25 to 50 $US).
Sometimes no taxes are applied also when these limits are exceeded.
This is because customs officers usually need to deal with an
excessive number of products. Products purchased by international
mail, provided their value is low, at the current legal state of
affairs, are not subject to taxation. This could effect the fiscal
system if the amount of these sales was to increase. The new scenario
to update international mail laws and regulations cannot be
implemented on the short term. Consequently, BONDED WAREHOUSE sales,
while fully respecting international mail laws and regulations, can
exploit this transitional phase and make the most of the custom
authority's inability to face the new situation. This means that
products can be marketed at extremely competitive prices. This is the
gateway to a new market, in the full respect of the law.
Q. What is new about
BONDED WAREHOUSE sales?
A. Today, the Internet
allows you to look for products at the best terms and
conditions at online shops world-wide. Logistic and shipping services
are offered at increasingly more competitive prices. This is creating
the beginning of a global market. Currently, if you live in the USA,
for example, you can purchase a taxed product at an online shop based
in the UK. In this case, you would pay a higher price than should be
expected for a product destined to be exported. In other words, you
are paying a tax that should be paid in the US to the British
government. If the value of the product exceeds the threshold for duty
tax application, the product will additionally be subjected to
taxation in the USA and, consequently, you will pay taxes twice, in
two different countries. The BONDED WAREHOUSE solves this problem and
is the future of international mail.
FAQ: Delivery -
Q. Can I track my
parcel by means of its number?
A. No. The parcels
cannot be tracked at this time.
Q. Are there countries
to which you do not deliver?
A. No.
The cigarettes sold at goCigs.net can be purchased from any
country in the world. We deliver world-wide with the exception of
Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Q. I'm
just amazed, why is Air Mail "Free"?
A. To simplify the order
form and process. The cost is "included in the
price". We believe this makes for a better buying experience.
Q. Are
there any mailing times guarantees?
A. No.
Air Mail deliveries can be affected by mailing problems in the
destination country.
Q. I bought five cartons of cigarettes
one week ago and I have only received one carton. Is that normal?
A. Yes. The cartons are
shipped on the same day but only rarely reach
destination together. The time between the first and the last delivery
is in average 2 to 3 days in Europe and the Mediterranean area and 5
to 10 days in the rest of the world. You are more likely to receive
all the cartons on the same day with "Priority" mail.
Q. What happens if I am
not at home when the parcel arrives?
A. No signature is
required to deliver the parcel. Consequently, the postman
will leave the parcel in your mailbox (providing it is big enough to
contain the parcel, i.e. 18 x 28 x 3 cm).
Q. What does "Each
carton separate delivery" mean?
A. Example: if you order
five cartons of cigarettes at once you will receive
five separate parcels. Each parcel will be shipped immediately and not
extended in time.
Q. Why
can't you send me a single parcel containing more cartons?
A. Because it would be
subject to duty since the weight and value would not
fall within the prescribed international parameters.
Q. Is the package tough
enough?
A. Yes. The package
consists of a stiff cardboard "book size" carton
specifically designed for being sent by mail. The carton is placed
inside a plastic covered padded paper envelope. In this way, we can be
certain that your cigarettes - including "soft packs" - will reach you
in perfect conditions.
